What is helpful content, according to Google?
Google is about to launch its helpful content update. So what exactly is helpful content? Here’s what Google has told us.
Why I care: As Google continues to monitor who is sourcing helpful and solution-orientated content. It is important to update methods and strategies beyond keywords and filler content. Quality is going to be rewarded and ranked well.
How to Use Psychology to Convert More Leads
Marketing is a mind game, and you can (and should) use tenets of basic psychology in your content marketing to get ahead of the curve.
Why I care: As a marketer, your job is to get your target audience on your team. Competition is tough, and you need any edge you can get to turn prospects into better leads.
White label link-building services: How to do it right
Use these essential tips to help you understand if white-label link building is right for you and how to find the right partner.
Why I care: If you’re a marketing or digital agency, you’ll know that link building is the most important part of search engine optimization (SEO), but it’s also extremely time-consuming. That’s where white-label link building comes in.
8 Types of Content Marketing You Should be Using in 2023
Explore 8 of the best types of content marketing, the results you’ll earn from each, and how to execute them effectively for your business.
Why I care: Content marketing is all about attracting traffic to your website with engaging, high-value content. A diverse content library expands your brand reach through these efforts and aligns with different audience preferences. It enables your content to be shared across a range of channels and engage various customer segments.
How to Scale Up Your Content Creation (Without Sacrificing Quality)
While your business grows with your hard work, you will need to expand every aspect of your operation to continue smashing through your ceiling. Eventually, you’ll have to widen your content creation efforts and scale up your once small operation into a larger facet of your content marketing efforts.
Why I care: Creating content for your website is a rewarding process. A labor of love, if you will. The more you do it, the better you get, and the more customer traffic you get.
Search Engine Optimization/SEO
Google Announces New Search Updates Which Will Put More Emphasis on Content Depth
Google has announced some key updates to its Search algorithms which will look to highlight more valuable results, created for humans, as opposed to web pages that have been designed purely with SERP ranking in mind.
Why I care: The update, as Google says, is aimed at low-quality sites that have been constructed purely to game the algorithm, by including specific keyword matches and data notes that align with key Google search trends.
In other words, if you’re creating shallow content based purely on keyword matching, in order to rank in Search, you may soon see a dip in your SERP rankings.
Off Page SEO: An In-Depth Guide
What off-page SEO is, and actionable strategies that show how to succeed online with it.
Why I care: Off-page SEO is one of the most difficult parts of digital marketing. It can feel like there are more ways to get it wrong than to do it right.
Off-page SEO traditionally means acquiring links.
And, because links continue to be an important ranking factor, off-page SEO is an important part of SEO.
