Instagram's Rolling Out its New Sponsored Product Listings to All Merchants
Promoted products will appear in the Shop tab in the app, helping to guide more people towards your product offerings.
After testing them out over the last few weeks, Instagram is now rolling out its new promoted products option within the Shop tab to all merchants in the app.
Why I care: More and more platforms have stepped up and made adjustments to facilitate the customer's journey. The addition of the shop tab helps highlight products for sale.
Clicking on a sponsored product will bring a user to a product details page. Similar to other platforms it will also provide similar products to choose from. Breadcrumbs to the more from this shop element where you showcase your desired product suite.

Site Architecture: How To Build A Website That Ranks And Converts
Website architecture is the way information is arranged on your site. It's organizing content so that users can find what they are looking for.
Why I care: How you choose to tell your story matters. How you choose to convey your solution is the right one for the user matters. How you relate your experience and its value matters.
Your site's architecture is directly related to not just how you tell your story. But more importantly how may take the time to learn about you and your solution.
A poorly constructed website with a bad user experience. Can tank the best of businesses. Whether you're offering to give away a million dollars to someone or not. They have to find the information. Digest in a way that they can process and validate in their minds.
Taking the time to think through your site's architecture is the difference between investing money on the front end and losing it on the backend of your site's iteration. The importance of thinking it through with someone who knows the who, what, where, why and how behind the layout and structure cannot be overstated.
How To Presell A Course (Ultimate Guide To Pre-Selling)
Pre-selling is the best way to validate the demand for your online course idea. We show you how to sell online courses before creating them to avoid wasting time.
Of course, no one plans to create an online course that doesn’t sell. But by neglecting to plan how they’re going to sell their course, they inadvertently risk creating a course that generates very few (if any) sales once published.
Why I care: The level of work that goes into creating a course is not something to take lightly. Anticipating questions, content creation, course segmentation, and more. All designed to set a student up for success.
Nothing bruises the ego more than putting in all of the work involved in creating a killer course. Then not having the enrollments and sales to justify the work. By preselling the course you get to confirm the audience for it and evaluate the return on investment.
It can also help you plan for what comes next. Which is something else that is often overlooked. Are you a service provider? Can you step in and complete the task? Do you outsource it with affiliate links?
When you address the audience upfront. It leaves more room to think about the details of what next. Which can be just as if not more profitable than the course itself.
Helpful Tips
How to Do A/B Testing: 15 Steps for the Perfect Split Test
Planning to run an A/B test? Bookmark this checklist for what to do before, during, and after to get the best results.
A/B testing can be valuable because different audiences behave, well, differently. Something that works for one company may not necessarily work for another. In fact, conversion rate optimization (CRO) experts hate the term "best practices" because it may not actually be the best practice for you.
Why I care: A set it and forget mentality does not lead to great results. You can't develop and grow a brand into a successful business with that mindset.
A/B testing is a useful best practice for discovery. You can learn about your audience as well as yourself. When you take a look at the analytics. It can help you set and reset goals and timelines. Take the guesswork out of marketing and winning business. Test out the options to identify what is delivering the best results.
Content Creation Checklist: 17 Steps To Create High-Performing Blog Posts [Infographic]
Are you looking for ways to improve your business blog? Want to learn how to plan and optimize your posts to get more people reading them?
Why I care: Content creation gets a bad rap. Mainly because it comes across as a daunting task. Staring at a blank page trying to think of what to write isn't fun for anyone.
When you have a format and formula you can alleviate some of the obstacles holding you back. A format and checklist make it more plugging in sections. Thinking through a section at a time makes it a lot easier to create content. It also allows you to work through a winning formula that's been tested and delivers great results.

How to Launch a Product, According to HubSpot's Product Marketers
Like a tree falling in the woods, if you launch a product without spreading the word -- will anyone use it? Will anyone even want it?
Probably not. Whether you're launching something huge, something small, or you're updating a current offering, you'll want to start your preparation well in advance of the launch date.
This includes nailing down your positioning and messaging, sharing that with key teams and stakeholders, listing out all the launch activities, creating assets and content, prepping everyone involved in the launch, and so on.
Why I care: The number of online businesses continues to skyrocket. There are new businesses popping up left and right. Entrepreneurs looking to add revenue streams and branch out on their own.
Whether you're a new business or one that is looking to add to its product suite. There is more to it than just rolling it out and waiting for feedback. When you do the prep work. You get better and more sustainable results.
Marketing Strategies
What is Experiential Marketing? 5 Creative Examples to Boot
Experiential marketing brings brands to life by creating interactive, memorable experiences between brands and consumers. It comes in many forms — events, contests, viral content, product launches, and demos, online challenges, and more.
Why I care: Experiential marketing takes things beyond events that someone may or may not be able to attend and participate with.
Branching out into forms that are more accessible and easier for consumers to learn about the brand. This strategy allows for interactions that can move consumers through the customer journey and prompt them to make purchases.
Search Engine Optimization/SEO
SEO Content Writing vs. SEO Copywriting: What’s the Difference?
Looking to hire an SEO writer for your brand? The difference between an SEO copywriter and a content writer can affect your campaign's success.
Why I care: An educated prospect makes better decisions and decreases the level of risks of projects. Website Designers and Developers rarely want to take on the task of coming up with content.
There are some that can refer you to a 3rd party to help with your needs. For those that don't and you find yourself on your own. It is important to know the difference between SEO content writing and SEO copywriting.
Hire the right person for the job to get the desired results.
15 Local SEO Mistakes and How to Avoid Them
Local SEO is the leading driver of organic traffic for local businesses. And with around 5 billion searches per day, Google search is the place to get your business found by people searching for products or services like yours.
But optimizing for local search isn’t always a simple task.
Why I care: Avoiding mistakes in SEO is just as important a strategy as any. Knowing that it can take time to undo and damage done. A poorly constructed SEO strategy costs rankings.
When you're banking on organic traffic as a business. Mistakes that cost ranking positioning is not something that can be taken lightly.
