Questions Business Owner Are Asking
Is A Free Consultations A Must For Winning Business?
This is a question that was asked by a coach who wanted to know how other people view consultations. Coaches and businesses in other industries.
I'm covering it from the perspective of removing the industries and digging down the core principles.
If you're going to do it here are some ideas on what you should aim to get out of it.
In addition to why it may not be necessary.
Advertising Tips
Google ad revenue soars 69% as new bets in commerce, video pay off
Social media platforms and the more embattled agency category have also felt fresh tailwinds amid the broader ad market recovery.
Google's advertising revenue soared 69% year-over-year to $50.4 billion in the second quarter
YouTube ads drew in $7 billion in Q2, an 84% increase over the year-ago period. Google's search network and other offerings drummed up $35.8 billion, a roughly 68% YoY gain.
Why I care: There are several ways to track what's trending. A sure bet is to follow the money. It's more reactive but a solid strategy nonetheless.
Following the money highlights were industries are spending their money and investing in new technologies. Where you may fall behind in one. You can be at the forefront in another.
Tracking where ad spend is going is like reading the stock market reports. When you know what you're looking for you'll find everything that you need.
In this case, its video is paying off not just for consumers who can get more information from video than text. But the search engines, platforms, and businesses are tracking the results and making adjustments to their marketing strategy.
Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram? Which Platform(s) You Should Be On
Explore the pros and cons of Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram and learn which platform is the most worthwhile investment for your business and audience.
Why I care: While it is recommended to represent your business across the social media landscape. The reason for being on each individual platform differs.
The difference is the audience, sharing restrictions, and engagement. The audience on LinkedIn for example is going to be different than the audience on Instagram.
Your approach to interacting with the audience has to be different as well. It leaves room for throwing anything against the wall to see what sticks. But you can't forecast or market effectively that way.
The reality is by having a universal approach you could be doing just as much bad as good with your potential target audience. Your audience drives the messaging and how to convey it. You just have to listen, watch and learn.

Expanding your reach to a larger number of quality leads. Coupon link building is a strategy to test now with back-to-school coupons. Refine your process and lay the groundwork for a strong close to the year. During the busiest shopping time of the year.
Are Companies Seeing Summer Slumps in 2021?
In past years, industries have seen summer slumps. But, this year, business leaders are expecting sharper dips as more consumers travel or unplug.
Why I care: A lot of SMBs are flying blind. They aren't tracking year over year sales and trends within their own business. When you know where the slower periods are you can prepare for the lull.
Forecasting sales not only allows you to weather the storm but cushion the fall. Implementing marketing strategies and making adjustments to your budget. All things to look at and evaluate with you hit the slumps in sales and slow periods.
When you can identify the "Why". You put yourself in a position to come up with a solution for it. At the very least a way to get through it that doesn't break you or the bank.

The whole point of pruning is to remove old stems and uncover younger ones – letting the light in and stimulating new growth.
Why I care: Removing content in some cases does just as much good as adding new relevant content.
